Rigid & Flexible Mining Cable

In addition to the classification of specific models, mining and tunneling cables can be categorized into rigid and flexible cables.

The internationally recognized magnesium oxide mineral insulated cables (often IEC 60702-1:2002) have a solid conductor made of copper, unlike the stranded or flexible conductors used in ordinary cables.

BTT Rigid Mining Cable

BTT series is the only internationally recognized mineral insulated cable, which is made of a seamless copper pipe sheath, filled with magnesium oxide crystal powder as insulating material, and the conductor consists of a single strand of copper rod.

Internationally recognized mainly depends on its use of real high temperature materials, including copper conductor and copper sheath melting point is 1083 , and magnesium oxide mineral insulation layer melting point is up to 2800 , so that the line in more than 1,000 ℃ high temperature can still be operated safely.

BBTRZ Flexible Mineral Cable

BTT Rigid Cable (T) is changed to (B), with B standing for mineral. The product structure consists of copper stranded wire, gold mica tape insulation, irradiated cross-linked polyethylene water barrier, magnesium hydroxide mineral fireproof sheath, and low-smoke halogen-free sheath.
